Out of Network Insurances

If Coeur d’Alene Pediatrics is not in-network with your insurance plan, here’s what you need to know:

1. Check with Your Insurance
We recommend contacting your insurance company to find out how they cover out-of-network providers. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary.

2. Payment at Time of Visit
We require 50% of the estimated charges to be paid at the time of your child’s appointment.

3. Good Faith Estimate
If your appointment is scheduled at least 3 days in advance, we’ll provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the costs ahead of time.

4. Insurance Billing
As a courtesy, we will still bill your insurance. However, the balance will be your responsibility until we receive a response from your insurance.

If you have questions or need help understanding your out-of-network coverage, please first contact your insurance to better understand your policy’s benefits. Our billing office will do our best to assist with further questions but it is important to note that we have minimal information on your individual policy.
