HEALTHCARE COVERAGE OPTIONS
Patients who need insurance or assistance with coverage or visits can look into the following options:
NO HEALTHCARE COVERAGE?
If you do not have healthcare coverage you can go to the Idaho Healthcare Exchange at YourHealthIdaho.org or call (855) 944-3246 to get information and premium rates for health insurance.
UNABLE TO AFFORD PREMIUMS FOR HEALTHCARE COVERAGE?
If you can not afford the premiums for healthcare coverage you can apply for Idaho Medicaid at HealthandWelfare.idaho.gov or call (877) 456-1233.
DO NOT QUALIFY FOR MEDICAID AND ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD AN OFFICE VISIT OR IMMUNIZATIONS?
If you do not qualify for Medicaid and are unable to pay for healthcare premiums, or you have no coverage today and your child has an illness, you can contact Panhandle Health District at (208) 415-5270. Ask about obtaining a Helping Hands voucher to be used at our office or at other providers in the county that are participating in this program.
If your child is under the age of 1 and you do not have Medicaid or health insurance, you may qualify for all wellness visits and immunizations to be provided at no cost to you by applying for our
Wee Care program. Please contact billing at (208) 762-4586 to apply or learn more about this program.
If your child is 18 or younger and needs immunizations, they can be obtained at our office at no cost. The parent or patient will need to sign a waiver stating that they are unable to pay the cost associated with the administration of the free vaccine.
